I bought a bag of Organic Romaine Hearts with three in a bag from the Walmart in Johnson City New York..This is exactly how I found the lettuce when I went to my kitchen to make my rabbit a little salad of his favorite greens he loves to eat and I'm glad I checked it all before giving him any tonight since there was all types of dead bugs spiders and a *** live caterpillar in the lettuce..Yes I have fed him some of this lettuce when I first bought it and brought it home for him..This is beyond disgusting and very unacceptable to be selling in any supermarket in the nation period

Bad/Strange Eggs

Non expired same day purchase of Marketside Cage Free Brown Eggs from Walmart. The yokes were a bright, deep unnatural orange color. When cooked these eggs looked even weirder as the orange became more intense. When tasted, they didn't have an egg flavor. There really wasn't any flavor at all. But there was a very strange texture to the yokes, it was like a powdery, gritty texture. Why??

User's recommendation: I would not recommend buying Marketside Cage Free Brown Eggs.

Plastic in my salad

Marketside - Plastic in my salad
Marketside - Plastic in my salad
Love the Cherry Gorgonzola salad kits - my local Walmart doesn't keep them stocked very often. I was grossed out and disappointed when I bit down on a hard piece of plastic. Never thought it would happen to me, this is something that happens to other people. Glad I didn't break my tooth. I will still be buying this salad kit because frankly, I'm addicted. But now I'm more aware of the risks.

User's recommendation: Eat at your own risk!

Salmonella Poisoning

Marketside - Salmonella Poisoning
I purchased a bag of classic iceberg salad a few days ago. I had it with my dinner yesterday with my wife. We both a few hours felt terrible. Vomiting and diarrhea took over as well as the stomach cramps. We went to the ER and it was salmonella just as we suspected. I still taste the lettuce and I keep burping it. I washed it and then served it, yet it still made us so sick. I tried to get Walmart to take it off the shelf, but they said all they could offer me was a refund. ANNOYING!!

User's recommendation: DO NOT BUY.

This is true in order to receive medical compensation you must either talk to a lawyer or go through arbitration. It's the same with any company they won't just take your word for it. But generally, had you gone that route you would have likely seen the solution you desired including a voluntary recall of the batch that was contaminated.

Bad product

Marketside - Bad product
I have bought these convenient salads frequently and more times than not, the lettuce is not fresh at all even though it is always several days before expiration date. I've had enough.

User's recommendation: don't purchase, expiration date not accurate.

Yes exactly why I looked up this page. Stupid they put extra plastic now to keep the cheese and meat seperate and put more plastic in the ocean and then throw the plastic fork in the bottom.

What if I touched something with COVID on it and now I have to as this says "Paw around in my food for the fork". Heck better not include the fork so I could use my own, better than having to dig broken plastic fork tines out of my mouth! Stupid! Go back to the previous presentation.

Fork on top, no plastic tray for the other meat and cheese. Give the manager who decided this an idiot hat!

I purchased a bag of your mixed vegetables and when I opened the bag the picture shows what was inside. It took up most of the bag.

HATE Onions & chives

Why are these salads made with onions and chives when 87 percent of Americans HATE them? I take a bite and get an onion or chive and I want to throw up! It ruins the entire salad!

User's recommendation: Don't buy if you hate onions & chives!

87 percent of American's hate onions. Where did you get this information from?

#2023655
@Sidonia

Onions, garlic, and relatives are the most widely used vegetable in the world! It is about personal taste, don't buy onions or salads with onions in them if you don't like them.

I’m tired

Marketside - I’m tired
Marketside - I’m tired
I buy your salads regularly years in fact and every time I buy them Always have to go through the salad and get these big chunks of the core out so when I finish I have a bigger pile of core then I have of regular lettuce, and I'm just tired of paying for a salad and can not even eat it all, and I'm just tired of giving my money to this company and getting poor quality product all these years, and sometimes I get a salad and the lettuce is hiding brown lettuce. Its shameful that this business ripping people like me a loyal customer, and you all just sell us anything

User's recommendation: I would not recommend I would just advise people to buy a head of lettuce it’s not worth the money and time u have to spend out of your lunch break to pick out lettuce core.

Complaint

I always buy one of your salad bowls for work. I bought one this past Friday and when I began to eat it the lettuce tasted slime and tomatoes sour. I had to throw it away. I have never had this problem before.

Disappointed

I love the product but have to discard half the bag, you should make small sizes one serving or two servings. Once you open it wilts and I end up discarding.
